Invalid API key

HTTP 401authenticationinvalid_api_key

Well formed, but not a key we recognise.

What to do

Check for a trailing newline or space from the paste, and that you are not using a test key against live data. The presented secret is hashed even when no key matched, so a wrong prefix and a wrong secret take the same time — the key space cannot be probed by timing.

What it looks like

{
  "error": {
    "type": "authentication",
    "code": "invalid_api_key",
    "message": "…",
    "doc_url": "https://docs.textmast.com/errors/invalid_api_key",
    "request_id": "req_01j8xk2p7n4qc3m9v0wz5bt6ay"
  }
}

Quote the request_id if you get in touch. It is on every response, including this one, and it turns a support email into a single log query rather than an archaeology exercise.
